The Andrew Adkins property bounded by Madison, N. Fayette, Wythe, and N. West Streets is currently undergoing design and approvals for re-development. Click here for a presentation and the current design concepts.

Braddock Implementation Advisory Group: 


Per the City of Alexandria's website, the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan was issued on March 15, 2008. In 2009, the Plan was used to establish the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan Implementation Advisory Group (BIAG) to assist City staff in implementing the recommendations of both the Braddock Metro Neighborhood and Braddock East plans. The most recent Group report is linked below; more information is available in the link above.

North End Quality of Life Working Group: 


This Community Action Plan was developed by the North End Quality of Life Work Group to outline specific actions to be taken that will improve the quality of life for residents of Alexandria’s “North End” community, which generally encompasses the areas south of First Street, east of the Braddock Metro, West of North Washington Street and North of Oronoco Street.  The goals and strategies set out in this report are designed to achieve a unified and cohesive community with knowledge and access to essential services that supports every member of the community allowing them to thrive and excel.
